Born in London, England but spending his early years traveling throughout the African continent; he cites his time in Dakar, Senegal as his most influential.
'Cult Storyteller' Christopher Lutterodt-Quarcoo is a London based Designer, Director and Writer. His interests and background in film, design and politics are linked through his affinity for intricate narratives revealed through an experience of a specific individual or psyche. Typically materialised as installations using cinematic devices and religious conventions allowing for the presence of reverence and the ineffable.
He holds an MA in Design Interactions (Dunne & Raby) from the Royal College of Art and a BA Hons in Design for Interaction & Moving Image from London College of Communication. All the while being an internationally exhibiting Designer and Artist, award-winning Director of 'Hertz' (BFI Future Film Festival: Best Documentary) currently on BFI Player — and Writer.
Currently, CL-Q has founded Unmaterialised, a design research archive and Director of The Adv_, a critical simulator producing immersive think-tank experiences. These organisations continue to lead him to cultural institutions as a Lecturer & Speaker internationally.
